Time for a New Tub
It is hard to believe that Nathan Jr. has almost doubled his body weight. This week has been full of milestones in his life. First, he weighed in at 10 lbs., 0 oz. at the doctor's on Monday. Then on Tuesday he moved into size 1 diapers. Tonight he graduated from the bathroom sink to the bathtub.
As the pictures below document, it was about time that we put him in the tub.
Nathan Jr. had a long day on Friday. First, he had to spend an hour at the mall helping Edwina shop. Then, Ed took him to say goodbye to some of the folks in the office. By the end of the day, all he wanted to do was relax in the sink. As you can see by his expression, the nice soak in the sink looked better on paper.
Nathan Jr. was all but begging to move out of the sink. This look cut right to H.I.'s heart. He couldn't help but look for a new place to bathe the boy.
Another one of Nathan Jr. showing us just how happy he was with the sink.
Tonight Ed and H.I. granted Nathan Jr.'s wish and set him up in the bathtub. He was awful damn happy to have some wiggle room.
As you can see, he is a lot happier in the tub and it will be a long time before he outgrows it.
Nathan Jr. contemplating the eternities. Besides farting it is his favorite thing to do.

The final result: A clean, happy, calm baby. Edwina couldn't help but pose Nathan Jr. with a puppy. He is an awful damn good baby.

Our First Post
We intended this blog to be for the entire single syllable family, but chances are Ben is going to be the most frequent topic of our posts.
We know that you are mostly interested in our witty social commentary and insightful critiques of popular culture; however, we think that for now it is best to show pictures of the boy and save the fun stuff for another time.
So here they are:
This is bashful Ben.
This is Ben trying to prove that he has a better double chin than his dad. He has a lot to learn!

Sleeping . . .
Sleeping . . .
Sleeping.
